Nick at Underage festival
Nick found himself in London's Victoria Park for the under-18s-only Underage Festival a few weekends ago. We caught up with him to find out how it went:
"It was amazing. I couldn't believe the response I got because nobody really knew who I was, but the crowd went mental. There were circle pits and crowd surfers and all of that. I was on at 12:00 too, first on stage, but they all just loved it and went crazy. It was really fun."
How did it compare to other festivals you've played?
"At other festivals I've not had bad crowds, but I just think the crowd there were so up for it. When they go crazy it makes for a much better show. It's riding with them, isn't it? It's wicked."
Your next gig's at Proud Galleries in London, how do you think you'll go down with the Camden scenesters?
"I'm just going to do my thing - I played in Camden recently at the Lock Tavern: an acoustic show. They seemed to like it. So I'm just going to play my stuff and hopefully people will enjoy it.
"I haven't been to the new Proud Galleries but the old one was really cool so I'm really looking forward to it. It's going to be a good show."
